The Felician Sisters, at the beginning of the Congregation, in accordance with the guidance given in one of the first Ceremonials, at the entrance to the chapel prayed the FELICIAN Act of adoration and praise of Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament. In the Ceremonial, we read:

“When they come to the center of the chapel, with their hands under the scapular and their eyes lowered, holding straight without exaggeration and carelessness, they will kneel on both knees and bow down to the ground.  They will do it modestly, so that the habit covers their feet, and they will kiss the ground as a sign of humility and annihilation before the Most Blessed Sacrament. They will worship Him saying in their hearts:

We adore You, Lord Jesus Christ, through the Heart of Your Most Blessed Mother, here and in all your churches in the whole world, and we bless you, because by Your Holy Cross You have redeemed the world.?

This custom, in a slightly changed form, is practiced to this day.
