Encounter with Blessed Mary Angela
At the last Encounter with Blessed Mary Angela, the Sisters pondered upon the content of the second chapter of the Memoirs of the Congregation of the Felician Sisters, which is entitled: Primary Aim of Religious Life.
The Sisters have stress anew the necessity of spiritual development, so that by their growing in union with God, they could share this treasure with others. One of the points in this chapter says:
It is known that the prayers of St. Peter of Alcantara produced more good in souls than all the sermons of contemporary preachers. However, it is also true that if one is not himself on fire, he will not inspire others.
And again, reaching to the sources has awakened in each of us the desire for continuous growth in holiness.
